“Ok this might sound weird, but I SWEAR by it. If you shave your bikini line and keep getting red bumps from chafing, buy some unscented sensitive skin deodorant (I use Dove) and apply it to your bikini line. It’ll keep your skin from chafing when it rubs together, and you won’t get any red bumps!”

“If you like really pigmented blush but have sensitive skin (like moi), use a lil bit of lipstick and blend with a sponge or beauty blender! It goes on the skin a lot smoother and doesn’t irritate sensitive pores.”

-Ruby L.

“Use a flat iron to get wrinkles out of clothes if you don’t have an iron handy.”

-Emily Z.

“If you’re ever having a really bad acne spell and nothing else seems to be working, cut out dairy for a few days or maybe a month, and you’ll see dramatic results!! (Reason being dairy consumption causes your body to produce loads of insulin, which is bad news for your skin)”

-Ruby L.

“If you’re mid-shave and run out of shaving cream, don’t fret. Use conditioner! It works just as well and your legs will feel super smooth afterwards.”

-Grace L.

“Use a little bit of calamine lotion on pimples that won’t stop oozing. It will dry them up!!”

-Lucy C.

“My hair is really thick, so this tip may not be applicable to everyone. Nonetheless, here it is: I typically blow dry my hair, and if I want to take a shower late and go to bed, I’ll braid my hair in a super tight braid. When I wake up I unbraid and my hair is still wet enough to blow dry! I get plenty of rest and I don’t wake up my roommates late at night with my blow dryer–win, win.”

-Emily Z.

“If you mess up doing a winged liner or mess up doing your eyeshadow, take a little concealer on an angled brush, and you can fix it easily.”

-Isabella T.

“If you routinely get mascara all over your lower lash line trying to put mascara on, hold a plastic spoon under your lashes to avoid the clean up later.”

-Isabella T.

“Use vegetable oil or olive oil to remove waterproof mascara in a pinch. Just be careful not to get it in your eyes!”

-Emily Z.

“Put coconut oil and vitamin E on your lashes and brows before bed to help them grow!”

-Isabella T.

“I’m not sure if this is a beauty hack or not, but everyone should wear sunscreen! It prevents skin cancer and premature aging! Plus, sun damage can affect EVERYBODY, regardless of skin tone.”

-Samantha L.

“Not gonna lie. I sometimes use silver eyeshadow as a highlight. It’s so pigmented and it works because I’m super pale.”

-Lauren L.

“I’ve found that if I’m breaking out, wearing red or pink actually distracts from the redness on my face. It doesn’t accentuate it like you would think!”
